Madrid, 26 de septiembre de 2011 –Hace diez años que la librería y galería PANTA RHEI abrío sus puertas para ofrecer a los madrileños un proyecto novedoso y para conmemorarlo lo celebran a lo grande. PANTA RHEI está de fiesta!

Más de 100 creadores participan en la exposición 10x10 que se inaugura el próximo jueves, 29 de septiembre a las 19:30 hs en esta librería-galería madrileña. Aunque la galería se especializa en dibujo e ilustración, en esta ocasión participarán creadores de diversos ámbitos como fotógrafos, diseñadores gráficos, diseñadores de producto, dibujantes e ilustradores.

PANTA RHEI galería

Una sala de exposiciones especializada en dibujo. Se expone la obra original de ilustradores, caricaturistas y dibujantes que se dedican de lleno a esta disciplina. Se da cabida a la ilustración en sus más amplias acepciones. Exposiciones de artistas que dedican su trazo al mundo del cómic, de la ilustración infantil, al dibujo digital, ilustración de moda, etc.

Expositie 'Ibidem' in Podium DAK.

Van zaterdag 10 t/m zondag 25 september 2011 vindt in Podium DAK te Geldrop de expositie 'Ibidem' van de in Limburg werkzaam en woonachtige kunstenaar Hand Kuijs plaats. Hans Kuijs over zijn werk:

"Gehoor gevend aan de innerlijke drang, de opbouw van mijn denken en voelen produceer ik steeds opnieuw beelden. Deze werken verhouden zich tot het voortgaan in het leven, soms geïsoleerd, dan weer als complex geheel. De zuiverheid en energie die aan het begin van elk leven ligt is de motor van mijn werk".

Hans Kuijs aquarelleert, tekent en schildert op papier en doek. Daarnaast werkt hij ruimtelijk met diverse materialen.

De expositie wordt op zondag 10 september om 15.00 uur geopend door Ulco Mes, kunsthistoricus en programmamaker Cultuur van de Gemeente Tilburg.

'Ibidem'

is te zien van zaterdag 10 t/m zondag 25 september en is geopend op zaterdag en zondag van 13.00 tot 17.00 uur. (En op telefonische afspraak)

Künstler aus Málaga am Werk: Bürgermeister Dr. Anton Jungwirth (l.), Prof. Dr. Klaus Discherl, Vorsitzender der Deutsch-Spanischen Gesellschaft, und Verena Schönhofer besuchten Ramón Paredes (v. r.), Verónica Romero, Antonio Casares und Javier Ponce bei ihrer Arbeit im Kulturmodell.

Es geht um mehr als nur um einen Künstleraustausch. Der solle schließlich nicht nur auf dem Papier bestehen, sondern auf einer freundschaftlichen Basis und gegenseitigen Besuchen. Mit diesen Worten begrüßte Bürgermeister Dr. Anton Jungwirth vier Künstler aus Málaga im Kulturmodell, das sie für ihre Arbeiten zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen haben.

Bis Ende Juni bleiben die Künstler Javier Ponce, Ramón Paredes, Antonio Casares Palma und Verónica Romero noch in Passau und lassen sich von der Schönheit der Stadt inspirieren. Am 24. Juni veranstalten sie eine Ausstellung, in der sie ihre Werke aus ihrer Zeit in Passau in der Produzentengalerie präsentieren. Der Künstleraustausch, der seit 2005 jährlich im Wechsel stattfindet, wird von der Stadt und der Deutsch-Spanischen Gesellschaft organisiert. Für die Künstler ist es bereits eine Tradition, an der sie festhalten wollen.

Passau ist für die Gäste aus Málaga ein Ort, der sie inspiriert. Sie schwärmen von dem guten Arbeitsklima. Seit ihrer Ankunft am 5. Juni haben sie schon fleißig gearbeitet. Die Wände im Kulturmodell sind geschmückt mit ihren bunten Kunstwerken. Von ihrem Atelier aus haben sie einen tollen Blick auf die Donau. Ruhe, Konzentration und Impressionen bringt ihnen der Ausblick. Neben all der Arbeit möchten sie aber auch die Besonderheiten Passau kennenlernen. „Dazu gehörte zum Beispiel ein Orgelkonzert im Dom oder ein traditionelles Schweinsbratensbratenessen“, sagte Verónica Romero. „Vor allem die interkulturellen Erfahrungen, die wir in unserem täglichen Treffen mit bayerischen Gewohnheiten haben, stellen uns vor überraschende Herausforderungen“, erzählte die Künstlerin.

The Return
Ten artists from Bosnia and Croatia and five from the USA are meeting and collaborating on an international, cultural, and artistic exchange.

Our theme is an examination of the issues of returning home after great trauma. The title “The Return” refers to the great diaspora of Balkan residents who were forced into exile by the war.

This is a collaborative, improvisational piece based on the bridge as a metaphor, for joy, for rebirth--for coming home. It will occur during late afternoon on and near one of the bridges in downtown Sarajevo. It will involve sound, dance and other per formative actions. There will also be a piece that takes place inside of a gallery, also in Sarajevo.

We will involve the audience in a gentle piece that will start out as an interactive performance that is a surprise to the audience without invitation for them to participate but will leave room for interaction. The piece will be sensitive to the history of Sarajevo in that we will not be using aggressive or confrontational tactics to draw them in. The images will begin as perfectly normal activities so the line between the moment of “per formative action” and ordinary street activity will be blurred so as the piece develops a separate reality.

Our process is experimental, our ideas fleshed out via Skype, email, and Facebook, involving all the artists. We are very excited about making a work that crosses boundaries of space and time.

The primary mode of presentation will be a collaborative performance, including dance, performance art, sound, poetry and musical score to take place in Sarajevo, Bosnia in September, 2011

We want this particular exchange to be a real exchange of ideas and performances; a true collaboration that begins and ends with communication between the artists involved to create an independent piece, rather than many artists bringing their work to a festival and remaining solo. We feel there is a core structure that does not get addressed in the festival scene--who are the people involved and how do they improve or illuminate their place in the world--without having any real interaction before or after an exchange? Too often the perceived abyss between two cultures never gets crossed, the artist come, do their work and then leave.

We believe, in a world that suffers from fractured societies and miscommunication one of the greatest gifts we can give each other is the time to get to know each other as humans, and artists.
How would we do this?

Well in the past our exchanges were inhibited by the difficulties of communications. It is amazing that even ten years ago to sit and see your potential art partners on a computer screen was in its infancy. Now we have a plethora of devices to break down the divide between us and communicate and we chose to use them. Our group has met via Skype, through e-mail (which has become unbearably slow to use!) but mostly through our Facebook account where we meet and discuss our plans for this collaboration.

Mobius (est. 1977) is a non-profit, artist-run organization, whose mission is to generate, shape and test experimental art. The members of the organization believe an effective strategy for supporting this art is to establish grounds that build relationships among fellow artists. Mobius is committed to structuring environments that foster projects incorporating a wide range of disciplines. This approach sets in motion situations where the artist's impact can be seen locally, nationally and internationally. Constructing art initiatives outside accepted frameworks and encouraging animated discourse with the public are fundamental to Mobius.

Mobius has long been committed to creating artist exchange projects bringing artists from different geographic regions to work together. The international exchange projects with artists from Macedonia, Croatia, Poland, and Taiwan have focused on site-specific and publicly-sited work. Mobius has presented work involving thousands of artists over its 30-year history and is recognized as one of the seminal alternative, artist-run organizations in the U.S.

Tanzelarija
Tanzelarija is a non-profit cultural association registered in BiH aiming to promote contemporary dance in its artistic, therapeutic and educational aspects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where this form of art and expression is hardly to be found.
We at tanzelarija see dance as a tool available to everyone to discover, develop and express themselves, to connect to themselves, their environment and to others, to improve communication and co-operation, strengthen self-confidence and creativity, and foster positive change and healing. Contemporary dance connects, heals and inspires.
It is this approach to dance that we would like to promote, as opposed to dance seen as a series of fixed movements to be learnt and repeated, requiring a certain body shape or ability, leading to competition or exclusively to performance.

El Fondo Nacional de las Artes (FNA) informó que, desde el 20 de mayo al 17 de junio del corriente, La Pampa estará presente en el Ciclo “Pertenencia”, que se desarrollará en la Casa de la Cultura del FNA, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.

El ciclo "Pertenencia" pretende contribuir a la difusión de la obra de los creadores que trabajan en cada región del país, posibilitando al público de Buenos Aires el acceso a la rica producción realizada en las provincias. Dentro de las actividades previstas en este programa, se contemplan: exposiciones de artes plásticas y artesanías, mesas redondas, talleres, proyección de videos, recitales de música popular y conciertos de música clásica.

El día viernes 20 de mayo se inaugurará la muestra Pertenencia /La Pampa, que reúne el trabajo de artesanos y artistas contemporáneos de nuestra provincia, con entrada libre y gratuita.

Por tal motivo, la Subsecretaría de Cultura invita especialmente a los pampeanos que viven en Buenos Aires y a aquellos que en esos días visiten la ciudad, a acompañar esta importante manifestación de nuestros artistas.

De acuerdo al programa suministrado por el FNA, el Ciclo Pertenencia/La Pampa incluye las siguientes presentaciones durante el mes de mayo:
